AWEA BM-1165 CNC vertical machining center

AWEA BM-1165 CNC vertical machining center was built in 2019. The machine, designed for precision machining of workpieces with a maximum weight of 1100 kg, is distinguished by its high performance and robustness. The richly ribbed construction made of top-quality cast iron hides a fully illuminated workspace with a wide bed. The machine bed has four sliding guides on which a large work table moves in the Y-axis. For high-precision positioning, the X,Y and Z axes are equipped with roller screw gears directly integrated with the axis drives. Feed, in turn, is realised on twin rectangular slides.

The AWEA BM 1165 milling center is offered with a wide range of equipment, including a RENISHAW touch-trigger probe, a 24-position tool magazine with changer foot and the modern SIEMENS CNC control with ShopMill overlay. The CNC control system is extended with additional functions, i.e. rigid tapping, intelligent motion control ‘Advanced Surface’, automatic power-off system and SINUMERIK Operate interface. The AWEA CNC machining center weighs 7000 kg.
