WALTER HELITRONIC POWER REGRINDER 5-AXIS CNC grinding machine

The WALTER HELITRONIC POWER REGRINDER 5-AXIS CNC grinding machine was manufactured in Germany in 1999 by Walter Maschinenbau GmbH. The machine is a tool grinder that allows grinding of various types of knives and tools for wood and metal processing. The maximum length of the workpiece is 350 mm (peripheral grinding) or 280 mm (face grinding), and the maximum diameter is 320 mm. The feeds in the X / Y / Z axis are respectively 470 mm, 320 mm and 660 mm. The rotational speed of the grinding wheel and spindle is adjustable in the range from 0 to 9500 rpm. The CNC grinder is equipped with, among others: CNC controller HMC 500, spindle head ISO 50. The machine has additional equipment, which includes, among others: an oil filtration device TRANSOR 6190-500M, robot and DSL SIGMA oil mist extraction. In the grinder, the screws in the Y and Z axes were replaced. In August 2021, the machine passed the technical protocol prepared by the Walter company.
