The LANDIS 3SE CNC crankshaft grinding machine was built in 2001 by the English company LANDIS LUND. The machine is an approach grinder, used to grind the journal diameter adjacent to the face and the bevel on 4-cylinder crankshafts.
The LANDIS 3SE grinding machine processes crankshafts with a maximum length of 750 mm and a diameter of 250 mm. The installed spindle of the machine rotates at a speed of approximately 5000 rpm. The grinding wheel of the machine can have a length of 20 mm and a diameter of 500 mm. The grinder is controlled by a CNC control Landis CNC 6400, which allows to control all functions of the machine.
