AFM DEFUM TAE 35N HANKA CNC turning center

AFM DEFUM TAE 35N HANKA CNC turning center was built by AFM DEFUM S.A. in Poland in 2017. The machine is used for precision machining of workpieces with even the most complex geometries. In addition to standard turning, the technical solutions used also allow, for example, the machining of drunken threads or the staggering of non-circular surfaces.

Workpieces with a maximum diameter of 530 mm and length of 490 mm are fitted bettwen the centres or in the chuck itself. The machining process is performed by means of cutting tools, taken from a 12-position turret. The spindle, thanks to its unique design, significantly increases the geometric stability of the TAE-35N HANKA machine. It is made up of two parts, which enable mutual compensation of thermal deformations, created as a result of the heating of the machine during cutting.

The AFM DEFUM TAE 35N CNC lathe is offered with equipment consisting of, among others, an advanced SIEMENS CNC controller with ShopTurn overlay and a chip conveyor. The total weight of the machine is approximately 3500 kg.
