AGIE AGIECUT EXCELLENCE 2 wire EDM machine

AGIE AGIECUT EXCELLENCE 2 wire EDM machine built in 1999 in Switzerland, is used in the production of e.g. precision dies, tools and punches. For the machining of workpieces, the machine uses advanced electrical erosion technology which makes it possible to achieve difficult shapes in even the hardest materials. The use of this method further minimises or completely eliminates the need for other secondary processes, such as polishing.

The AGIE EDM machine is equipped with a state-of-the-art AGIEVISION CNC controller and brushless axis servo motors to guarantee the highest machining accuracy and precision in the shortest possible time, with low energy consumption at the same time. The machine also comes with among others an integrated generator, a semi-automatic wire threading system and the AGIESETUP 3D measuring probe for automatic detection of the plane and position of the workpiece. The total weight of the wire EDM machine is 3600 kg.
