AGIE CHARMILLES FORM 400 vP die-sinking EDM was built in 2012 in Switzerland by Agie Charmilles SA. The machine is used in the production of, among others, precision dies, punches and tools. Workpieces with a maximum weight of 3000 kg are machined by means of electrical erosion, which enables complex shapes to be made in even the hardest materials. Workpieces machined in this way also do not require other secondary processes to be undertaken, such as polishing. Extensive equipment is included in the offer price, consisting of, among others, an intelligent control system, a measuring probe and a special iQ module that minimises electrode wear. The AGIE CHARMILLES FORM sinker EDM weighs 7014 kg.
