CINCINNATI ACW6 slitting line is used in the processing of thin steel sheets with a maximum thickness of 4 mm. The process consists in gradually unrolling the sheet coils towards cutting rollers with special roller knives with a thickness of 5 to 30 mm, and then passing the sheet between the rollers for precise slitting. After the slitting process, the sheet is wound onto coils ready for further processing. The ACW6 slitting line guarantees the highest product quality while making optimum use of the raw material.
The CINCINNATI coil slitting line consists of:
– sheet decoiler
– sheet metal winder
– roller knives (thickness 5 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm)
– ejector spacers (width 10 mm, 12 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm)
– slitting aggregate unit
– brake
