COHERENT Integral laser welding machine was built in 2020 in Germany by Coherent Munich GmbH & Co. KG. The machine has been in operation for just 15 hours during a single prototype project and is like new.
The COHERENT Integral is designed for the precision welding of components made of stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and other materials requiring a high degree of accuracy. The process is performed in 4 axes using a concentrated fibre laser beam with high energy density, enabling the creation of strong, aesthetically pleasing welds. The movable working head facilitates the welding of complex shapes, even in hard-to-reach areas.
The COHERENT laser welding machine operates in manual mode, semi-automatic joystick-controlled and CNC modes. Depending on the selected operating mode, the operator controls the position of the head using a joystick or enters operating parameters via a colour touchscreen. The machine is offered with an original set of equipment, including a laser source, a cooling unit, a torch, holders and cables. The total weight of the machine is 800 kg.
