ECKERT JANTAR 2 plasma cutting machine was built in 2010 in Poland by ECKERT AS Sp. z o.o. The machine is designed for the precise cutting of large-format sheet metal with a maximum thickness of 100 mm. The cutting process is performed automatically on a worktable with a length of 6000 mm and a width of 3000 mm using a plasma torch. The stable plasma arc generated by the high-performance HYPERTHERM HP 130XD source allows optimal cutting parameters to be maintained even during intensive operation.
The ECKERT JANTAR 2 is distinguished by its stable, open design. It provides easy access to the working area from all sides of the machine and facilitates the loading of large sheet metal. Contaminants generated during cutting are extracted by a 7,5 kW PFC-4 filter-fan. Operation of the machine and the preparation of cutting programmes are facilitated by the intuitive ECS 872 CNC controller. All this makes the JANTAR 2 plasma cutting machine an excellent choice for industrial plants producing precision parts for various industries.
