ENGEL ES 80/50 HL injection moulding machine was built in 1996 in Austria by ENGEL Austria GmbH. The machine is designed for the efficient production of plastic components used both in everyday products and in many industrial sectors. These components are made using the injection moulding process, which involves injecting plasticised plastic under high pressure into a closed mould. Once cooled, the material takes on the mould’s shape, resulting in precise, repeatable components of high quality.
The ENGEL ES 80/50 HL features, among others, a 25 mm diameter screw and a precision mould clamping system with a clamping force of 50 tonnes. Day-to-day operation of the machine is facilitated by the intuitive ENGEL CC100 control system, which enables precise setting and monitoring of injection moulding process parameters. All this is complemented by an extremely rigid design that maintains high stability during intensive use. The ES 80/50 HL injection moulding machine weighs 4700 kg.
