ERMAKSAN FIBERMAK Momentum Gen-3 fiber laser was built in 2019 in Turkey by ERMAKSAN MAKINA SANAYI VE TIC. AŞ. The machine is used for precision cutting of sheet metal with a maximum weight of 1500 kg. The machining process is performed fully automatically by means of a stable 4 kW fibre optic beam. The cutting head is equipped with a special anti-collision system, which prevents collisions between the head and the workpiece. All axes are in turn driven by reliable, highly dynamic servo motors. Communication via the ultra-fast EtherCAT protocol allows all data to be processed in real time, minimising delays and significantly increasing feed precision.

The daily work of the machine operator is significantly facilitated by the intelligent CNC control. The control system has been specifically designed to meet the daily needs of professionals. It stands out, among others, for its intuitive programming, simplified interface language and ergonomic control buttons. In addition to its high level of comfort, the controller also features many useful functions, i.e. queuing and automatic execution of multiple cutting programmes.
