FANUC ROBOCUT ALPHA 1iC wire EDM machine was manufactured in 2006 in Japan. The machine does electric erosion machining on workpieces with dimensions (L x W x H) 820 x 730 x 300 mm and a maximum weight of 1000 kg. The machine operates on 5 axes (X, Y, Z, U, V) controlled by a Fanuc Series 180is-WB CNC control.

Feed rates in the wire EDM machine axes are 550 mm (X axis), 370 mm (Y axis), 410 mm (Z axis), 120 mm (U axis) and 120 mm (V axis). The wire EDM machine also has the option of automatic threading of wire with a diameter of 0.1 to 0.3 mm. The total weight of the machine is 3100 kg.
