FANUC ROBOCUT ALPHA 1iD wire EDM machine

FANUC ROBOCUT ALPHA 1iD wire EDM machine of Japanese production was manufactured in 2007. The machine, controlled by a CNC control Fanuc Series 310is-WA, machines the workpiece in five axes (X, Y, Z, U, V) using electrical erosion. The workpiece can be up to 1050 mm long, 820 mm wide, 300 mm high and weight up to 1000 kg.

Feed rates in the wire EDM machine axes are 600 mm (X axis), 400 mm (Y axis), 310 mm (Z axis), 200 mm (U axis) and 200 mm (V axis). Rapid feeds are 900 mm/min (for the X,Y,Z axis) and 450 mm/min (for the U and V axes). The machine also has the option of automatic threading of wire with a diameter of 0.1 to 0.3 mm and a maximum weight of 16 kg. The total weight of the wire EDM machine is 3000 kg.
