GILDEMEISTER NEF Plus 500 CNC lathe was built in Germany in 1993. The machine is used for precision machining of metal workpieces having a maximum length of 1500 mm and a diameter of 500 mm (turning over the bed) or 290 mm (turning over the slide). The Grundig Manual Plus CNC controller mounted on the machine body, with colour screen and control panel allows cycle control which makes the operator’s work much easier.
The price of the machine includes a wide range of equipment, consisting of e.g. a Multifix C tool post, a 7.5 kW sub spindle with a maximum speed of 5000 rpm and a tool cabinet with a full set of tools. Up to now, the CNC lathe has been used during one shift, when it worked a total of 32,000 hours. The total weight of the machine is about 3000 kg.
