GOTENEDS CIDAN FUTURA 25 CNC folding machine was built in 2010 in Sweden by Petersen Machinery Sweden AB (now CIDAN Machinery Sweden AB). The machine, designed for folding sheet metal with a maximum thickness of 2.5 mm, has been equipped with reliable technical solutions that guarantee excellent machining performance and precision for many years of use. The machining process is performed by a bending beam with a programmable mechanism for automatic sheet thickness setting and deformation compensation. In order to reduce positioning time, the back stop is divided into several segments with movable fingers. The back stop fingers made of spring steel are pneumatically driven.
The press beam, in turn, is driven by a geared motor and eccentric mechanisms located on both sides of the machine. The tie rods in the eccentric mechanisms are equipped with packs of disc springs, whose pre-tension provides the necessary press force. All this is complemented by the intelligent ProLink CNC control, in which even the most complex machining programmes are created in just a few steps. The GÖTENEDS FUTURA 25 CNC folding machine weighs 4195 kg.
