H.E.F. HEF DURFERRIT salt bath nitriding line was built in 2001. This highly advanced production line makes it possible to improve the mechanical properties of the workpiece by increasing its strength and resistance to wear and corrosion. To achieve this, the workpieces undergo thermo-chemical treatment in the form of salt bath nitriding, which results in an anthracite or black colour and a surface hardness of up to 1300 HV.
The H.E.F. HEF DURFERRIT thermo-chemical treatment line has been continuously serviced and upgraded throughout its service life. About 2.5 years ago, the lining and heaters were overhauled and the main nitriding ladle was replaced. It is also possible to purchase a new spare main ladle for the offered machine at an additional cost.
