IMA BIMA CUT 120/300 CNC machining centre for woodworking was manufactured in 2010 in Germany. The high-performance machine used in the production of furniture components and structural components made of wood is a combination of a machining centre and a panel saw, capable of performing the entire detail cutting process along with milling and hole drilling in a single cycle. The machining centre can also be integrated with a larger production system, such as an edge processing machine and a veneering machine, to increase production efficiency.
Wood panels with a maximum length of 2800 mm and a width of 1200 mm are mounted on vacuum blocks without the need to produce a protective panel first. After machining performed with the utmost precision and accuracy, the components leave the production stations ready for assembly, excluding manual removal by the operator. The BIMA CUT 120 300 woodworking centre is equipped with, among others, a vacuum pump with a capacity of 100 m3/h, a disc tool magazine and an IMA IMATRONIC CNC controller. The total weight of the machine is 6200 kg.
