JOTES SPD 30B surface grinding machine

JOTES SPD 30B surface grinding machine of Polish production is a manufacturing machine with horizontal spindle axis that performs grinding on the periphery of the grinding wheel. The workpiece of maximum length 1000 mm and width 300 mm is mounted on a rectangular electromagnetic table or directly on the grinding machine table.

The work table moves on the base guideways and the change of its direction of movement can be performed automatically by bumpers or manually by adjusting a suitable lever. The hydraulic drive of the machine’s work table allows continuous adjustment of the speed in the range from 2 to 30 m/min.

The installed grinding wheels, with a diameter of 350 mm and a width of 63 mm, are driven by an electric motor mounted directly on the grinding wheel spindle. The grinding wheels are moving at a peripheral speed of 26 m/s. The total weight of the magnetic surface grinding machine is 5000 kg.
