KOVOSVIT MAS VCI-D 1270 CNC vertical machining center

KOVOSVIT MAS VCI-D 1270 CNC vertical machining center was built in 2002 in the Czech Republic by KOVOSVIT MAS a.s. In 2022, the machine underwent a complete overhaul.

The KOVOSVIT MAS VCI-D 1270 is designed for the precision machining of metal workpieces in industrial plants and toolrooms. It enables milling, drilling and threading using a spindle with a maximum rotational speed of 12000 rpm. The cooling system maintains stable spindle temperature during operation under heavy loads and at high speeds, reducing the risk of thermal deformation.

The feed range in the X, Y and Z axes is 1270 mm, 610 mm and 720 mm respectively. The axis drives, based on high-performance HEIDENHAIN motors, ensure high motion dynamics and positioning accuracy. All this is complemented by the intuitive HEIDENHAIN TNC 620 CNC controller, which facilitates the preparation of machining programmes and the operation of the machine. All this makes the MAS VCI-D 1270 CNC machining center an excellent choice for the series production of components used across many industries. The total weight of the machine is 10500 kg.
