The LANDIS 5RIWE multi-spindle crankshaft grinder was built in 2001 by LANDIS LUND in England. The machine is used for finishing grinding of camshaft journals, as well as grinding the five diameter bearing, oil seal and post end of a 4-cylinder crankshaft. The LANDIS 5RIWE grinds the crankshaft, which can have a maximum length of 635 mm and a maximum diameter of 400 mm.
The machine is equipped with, among others: a hydrostatic spindle wheel, a multi-position footstock and a Landis CNC 6400 CNC control, which provides control of all functions of the grinder. The control console of the CNC control allows to enter data into available programs of the machine (component data, grinding parameters, part program) and displays messages and machine data.
