MAZAK SUPER TURBO X48 MK II laser was built in 2001 in Japan. The compact laser cutting machine is designed for precise cutting of pre-programmed shapes in sheet metal made of structural steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The machine’s small dimensions and components integrated into the machine frame, such as the chip conveyor and the MAZATROL L32B CNC control, allow it to be used to its full potential both in small factories and in series production.
The MAZAK ST-X 48 MKII gas cutting machine can process sheets with a maximum thickness of 15 mm (S235 structural steel), 6 mm (stainless steel) and 3 mm (aluminium). High cutting speed as well as excellent machining quality and accuracy over the entire working area at low operating costs are achieved thanks to the YB-L150A 8M resonator, characterised by high energy efficiency, allowing the laser beam power to be adjusted in the range from 300 W to a maximum of 1500 W.
The gas cutting machine has a wide range of equipment including X,Y,Z axis servo motors, a 7.5″ head and the ENTSTAUBER LDC-1/1000/13 dust collection system for collecting dust and contaminants generated during processing. The gas cutting machine weighs 12500 kg.
