MAZAK SUPER TURBO X510 MK III laser cutting machine was built in 2012 by the Japanese corporation YAMAZAKI MAZAK CORP. The machine, designed for machining workpieces made of among others steel and aluminium, guarantees excellent cutting results both in unit production and intensive series production. The machining process is performed by a cutting head with autofocus and a 7.5″ lens. The laser resonator integrated into the machine design with the highest energy output generates a stable 4 kW laser beam, which ensures that the sheet metal edges are distinguished by unprecedented precision, smoothness and absence of unevenness.
The extensive equipment includes among others a MAZATROL CNC control, a chiller and a multi-chamber extraction system. The SUPER TURBO X510 MK III laser has so far operated in one shift for a maximum of eight hours a day. All repairs, maintenance and oil changes were done on an ongoing basis. The total weight of the machine is 12700 kg.
