MICROSTEP MSF-Pipe-T 6501.200L tube and profile fiber laser was built in 2018 in Slovakia by MicroStep spol. S.r.o. The machine, which is designed for precision cutting of tubes and profiles of various cross-sections and non-standard shapes, is an excellent choice for modern business. This is because a number of state-of-the-art technical solutions guarantee the most accurate cutting results throughout its entire service life.
2D or 3D cutting is performed by means of a stable 2 kW fibre optic beam, which is generated by a resonator of the highest energy efficiency. The 3D laser scanner accurately measures the workpiece before machining to determine its actual shape along the cutting trajectory. Advanced algorithms then allow the control system to appropriately adjust the movement of the cutting tool and supports, as well as compensate any workpiece inaccuracies.
The work area is completely surrounded by a fully enclosed safety cabin. Inside it, all the necessary equipment for efficient machining is located, i.e. motorised supports with torsional stiffness compensation and a cutting head with autofocus. Thanks to this solution, the MICROSTEP MSF Pipe T tube and profile laser cutting machine can be adapted to unconventional tasks by expanding with additional components without taking up additional space.
