MITSUI SEIKI HR6A CNC machining center

MITSUI SEIKI HR6A CNC machining center was built in 1984 in Japan by MITSUI SEIKI KOGYO CO., LTD. The machine is designed for precision milling, threading and boring of oversized workpieces with a maximum weight of 2 tonnes. All these machining processes are performed fully automatically, thanks to the use of an automatic pallet exchange system. This system allows workpieces to be loaded and unloaded simultaneously during machining, thus increasing production efficiency and significantly reducing machine downtime. The pallets are transported by a stable cast iron saddle on bed’s hardened and ground guideways.

Movement of the X,Y,Z axes is performed on hardened and ground slideways. These ensure that the geometry of the axes remains constant, even when moving to end of their travels. All moving components, in turn, have Turcite B coated bearings, which ensure low friction and high vibration absorption during even the most intense challenges. This solution significantly improves surface finishes and overall machining quality.

The MITSUI SEIKI CNC horizontal machining center is offered with equipment , which includes among others a FANUC CNC controller, a 180-position tool magazine and a chip conveyor. The total weight of the machine is approximately 28000 kg.
