OMAX MAXIEM 1530 WaterJet was built in 2016 in the USA by OMAX Corporation. The machine, which combines high performance and precision, is used for machining materials made of e.g. metal, plastic or glass. The machining process is performed on a stable work table, whose open design offers free access to the workspace from all four sides. The innovative waterjet cutting technology guarantees an unprecedented smoothness of the workpiece edge, without the need for further machining. Only natural abrasive and water are used during cutting, making the process free of harmful fumes and safe for the environment.
All axes are driven by a reliable brushless servo drive, which minimises backlash and ensures high positioning accuracy. In addition, the advanced lntelli-TRAX drive system with linear encoder and feedback compression ensures that the machine controller knows the exact position of the cutting head at every moment of motion. The equipment on the machine also includes, among others, an industrial computer, an abrasive tank and a 30 HP direct-drive pump. The MAXIEM 1530 water cutting machine with empty tank weighs 1814 kg.
