The SCHENCK KBTK automatic crankshaft balancing machine was manufactured in 2002 by SCHENCK RoTec GmbH. The balancer is used to eliminate vibrations and to improve the overall quality and durability of the crankshaft. The machine performs measurement in the CAB 950 measuring unit.
The measurement and correction of unbalance in the machined crankshafts is carried out by drilling into the counterweights in one or two correction stages. The SCHENCK KBTK balancing machine is equipped with a SIEMENS Sinumerik CNC controller and has a cycle time of 45 to 100 seconds.
