STRATASYS F270 FDM 3D printer was built in the United States by STRATASYS. The machine is used for prototyping and production of components with complex geometries in the FDM technology, which involves applying successive layers of molten material according to pre-calculated print paths. The process uses a combination of a build material (ABS, ASA, PLA) and a support material (QSR). 3D printing is performed inside a sealed work chamber by two print heads.
Throughout its lifetime, the F270 industrial 3D printer has operated for a total of 17000 hours and has been regularly serviced. During the service work, the touchscreen display, power board, material drawer rail, material feed lines to the heads and Y-axis gantry were replaced. The STRATASYS 3D printer is offered with additional print heads.
