TORMEC ARC-DUAL elbow machine

TORMEC ARC-DUAL elbow machine was built in 2008 in Switzerland by TORMEC AG. The machine is used for the production of segmented elbows, reducers, duct end caps and other round fittings used in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Properly cut sheet metal segments are formed and then joined by closing the seam to create the finished fitting.

The TORMEC ARC-DUAL enables the production of components with a maximum diameter of 1000 mm. The machine has two workstations designed for forming the flange and closing the seam. This allows both operations to be performed without the need to change the tooling. The seam-closing mechanism uses an curved movement instead of a linear one, resulting in a precise and aesthetically pleasing seam. An ergonomic knee lever facilitates operation of the machine during work. All this makes the ARC-DUAL elbow making machine an excellent solution for fast and repeatable production of high-quality ventilation fittings.
