TOS SN 500S/1500 universal lathe

TOS SN 500S/1500 universal lathe was built by the Czechoslovakian factory TOS Trenčín. The conventional lathe is used for machining rotating parts such as a shaft or disc with a maximum length of 1500 mm, in single unit or small batch production. The machine’s rigid, stable design with a high-power main motor significantly increases production efficiency and allows full utilisation of the tools.

The TOS SN500-S lathe for metal performs machining on workpieces with a maximum diameter of 500 mm (turning over bed), 270 mm (turning over support) or 700 mm (turning in bridge). Workpieces machined on the machine are characterised by excellent quality and precision. The total weight of the TOS SN 500 S 1500 lathe is 1895 kg.
