ZASO MSA-4PS beam welding line was built in 2009 in Poland by ZASO Polski Sprzęt Spawalniczy. The machine enables precise longitudinal welding of, among others, plate girders, T-beams, I-beams and H-beams, using the MIG/MAG or SAW method. The applied technical solutions fully automate the process, with the guarantee of obtaining the highest quality welds.
The machining process is performed by two torches with integrated correction slides, which allow them to be moved remotely in two axes. A special frame clamp system holds the welded parts throughout the process, without the need for preassembly or the use of special tooling. The overriding control system also synchronises the work travel with the welding power sources.
The ZASO automatic welding machine is also distinguished by its modular work table, consisting of up to five modules, each 6 m long. It has an integrated cooling system, based on an aluminium heat sink. The heat sink is additionally supported by an internal cooling water circuit with a pump and a powerful radiator. The use of this solution eliminates any stress and thermal deformation of the welded structure.
