ZMT RUP 28 x 1000 shaft grinding machine was built in Poland in 1990. The machine is designed for grinding external and internal cylindrical rotating surfaces and conical surfaces made of steel or cast iron. Depending on the type of grinding, the machining process is carried out on workpieces with a diameter of up to 200 mm (internal grinding) or with a diameter of up to 280 mm (external grinding) and a maximum weight of 125 kg (grinding in a tusk) or with a weight of up to 20 kg (grinding in a chuck).
High reliability and a long service life characterise the grinding machine. The installed grinding wheel headstock performs the grinding process at a speed of up to 45 m/min, which significantly reduces the machining time. The grinding machine is equipped with the spindle rotating from 50 to 520 times per minute equipped with the Morse 4 cone. The machine RUP 28/45 weighs 2600 kg.
