ARISA S-2-630-240-120-LD mechanical press was built in 2005 in Spain by Arisa S.A. (now Nidec Press & Automation Co. (NP&A)). The machine on offer is an excellent choice for series production of components used in the broadly defined automotive or machinery industry. It enables even the most demanding metal forming operations, such as precise punching and stamping of metal parts. In addition to its standard purpose, depending on the tooling and material feed systems used, the machine can also be used as a transfer press or progressive press.

All machining processes are performed with a high press force of 630 tonnes. The drive system, in the form of a flywheel and an eccentric gear, cooperating with two connecting rods, ensures even torque transmission and smooth control of the slider movement. The slider, on the other hand, is guided at eight points using roller guides, which increases its operational stability and reduces wear on the guiding elements. This solution also helps to achieve a high quality of the stamped parts even under the highest loads.

The ARISA S-2-630-240-120-LD is equipped with a die cushion with a force of 200 tonnes and a stroke of 200 mm, which extends the machining capacity of the press. This solution enables the realisation of operations requiring controlled clamping from the table side, such as deep drawing or forming parts with complex shapes. The counterbalance system can be automatically adjusted to the weight of the mounted tool, which in turn improves the stability of the slider operation.
