BERNARDO URS 1000 N universal grinding machine

BERNARDO URS 1000 N universal grinding machine was built in 2021 in Austria by PWA Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H. It is an extremely versatile machine for precision grinding of both cylindrical and internal surfaces with a maximum length of 1000 mm. The best machining results during even the most intensive challenges are guaranteed by the precisely aligned work head with stable grinding wheel spindle. The grinding wheel spindle features adjustable sliding bearings consisting of three segments. It is adjusted hydraulically or manually according to the operator’s needs. Movement in the X and Y axes, in turn, takes place on precision, hand-grooved guides, ensuring high accuracy and smooth movements.

The BERNARDO URS 1000 N also stands out for its sturdy, heavily ribbed construction with large panels, which is resistant to temperature fluctuations and deformation. The work table can be tilted in the range from +3° to -7°, enabling the machining of cones in two directions. Its longitudinal travel is controlled manually via a handwheel or automatically via a hydraulic feed. The feed speed is steplessly adjustable with a programmable hold time at the end of each table movement. The offer also includes an extensive range of equipment, consisting of, among others, a hydraulic tailstock, grinding wheel dressing device and digital readout. The BERNARDO URS cylindrical and internal grinding machine weighs 3700 kg.
