DMG MORI CL2000A CNC turning center

DMG MORI CL2000A CNC turning center was built in 2017 in Japan by DMG MORI CO., LTD. The machine is new and has never been used.

The DMG MORI CL2000A is an excellent choice for the production of high-precision and repeatable parts used in many industrial sectors. This compact yet extremely powerful lathe will excel in even the most demanding production challenges. All machining processes, i.e. precision turning or threading, are performed fully automatically by means of the spindle and the cutting tools, taken from a 10-position turret. The spindle, driven by a high-powered motor, rotates at a maximum speed of 4500 rpm and operates in two X,Z axes with feeds of 245 mm and 370 mm respectively. What’s more, the machine’s design is based on the Finite Element Method (FEM). This solution guarantees the maintenance of high geometrical accuracy of the design, even under heavy loads.

The DMG MORI CL2000 CNC lathe is very easy to operate. The machine operator has at his disposal an intelligent control system with MAPPS software, which offers access to a number of useful functions, such as 3D machining simulation. The CNC controller also enables fast data transfer between the machine and the PC. The total weight of the machine is 2800 kg.
