ECKERT DIAMENT FIBER laser cutting machine was built in Poland in 2011. The machine uses fiber-optic technology to laser cutting workpieces made of black steel, stainless steel or aluminium. The combination of a robustly constructed portal structure together with a fully enclosed cabin to protect against laser radiation will satisfy even the most demanding customer.
The laser cutting machine uses a reliable IPG YLS-2000 laser source of modular design, to supply a 1 kW laser beam to the PRECITEC cutting head with integrated distance sensor. This solution allows machining workpieces with a maximum thickness of 12 mm (black steel) and 8 mm (stainless steel and aluminium) with the highest precision and quality, while reducing operating costs.
The laser’s equipment includes the EckLaser 2872 numerical control, the CAD/CAM software LANTEK Expert with NESTING function and two interchangeable tables with a length of 3000 mm and a width of 1500 mm. The fibre laser was used during one shift.
