ELUMATEC SBZ 140 profile machining center

ELUMATEC SBZ 140 profile machining center was manufactured in 2010 in Germany by elumatec AG. The machine is designed for the economical machining of aluminium profiles and thin-walled steel profiles with a maximum length of 7600 mm. It enables precise milling, drilling and threading of workpieces with high repeatability. With its capabilities, the ELUMATEC SBZ 140 is ideal for use in plants involved in, amongst others, the production of aluminium joinery and steel structures.

The SBZ 140 profile machining centre is distinguished by its 4-axis machining unit, equipped with a high-performance, air-cooled milling spindle. It enables all machining operations to be performed at various angles within a range of -90° to +90°. The machining unit cooperates with an 8-position tool magazine, which automatically exchanges tools in accordance with the programmed sequence. The workpiece is held securely in place by clamps fitted with an absolute measuring system, ensuring high stability and accuracy of the machining process. All this is complemented by an intuitive control system based on the Windows operating system.
