FRITZ MÜLLER ZE 625-4 hydraulic press

FRITZ MÜLLER ZE 625-4 hydraulic press was built in Germany by Fritz Müller GmbH & Co. KG. The machine has been continuously maintained and upgraded throughout its service life. The first major overhaul was carried out in 1988 by the manufacturer’s service Machinenfabrik Mueller-Weingarten AG. A second overhaul was carried out in 2020, during which the press was brought up to current safety requirements. As part of this overhaul, a new control system based on a SIEMENS SIMATIC S7 PLC controller and a SIEMENS SIMATIC HMI TOUCH touchscreen operator panel was installed, the entire electrical system was replaced, seals were replaced and light curtains were installed.

The FRITZ MULLER ZE 625-4 is an extremely versatile press designed for even the most demanding metal forming operations. It is capable of performing operations such as deep drawing, stamping, forging, straightening large workpieces, calibrating the dimensions of workpieces and blanking. This makes it ideal for the production of forgings, structural components, machine parts or automotive parts. All these machining processes are performed with a high press force of up to 620 tonnes, which, combined with a very dynamic slider, guarantees the best machining results. Thanks to the hydraulic drive, it is possible to precisely adjust the speed of the slider movement and to obtain full press force over the entire working stroke range, enabling demanding technological operations to be performed with the highest accuracy. The MUELLER 620T hydraulic press weighs 100 tonnes.
