JINHU GROUP JHE 45-33 extrusion line

JINHU GROUP JHE 45-33 extrusion line was manufactured in 2017 in China by Shanghai Jinhu Pipe Equipment Co., LTD. The line is currently configured to produce innovative polyethylene (PE) pipes with a diameter of 40 mm, designed for ground heat exchangers. The pipes feature a star-shaped cross-section, which, compared to conventional round pipes, provides a larger heat exchange surface area. By replacing the extrusion head and calibrator, the JINHU GROUP extrusion line can also produce round pipes and profiles.

The JINHU GROUP JHE 45-33 extrusion line comprises the following components:

– mould for converting the pipe cross-section from star-shaped fi 40 to round 3/4 inch

The pipe manufacturing process begins with the plasticisation of PE granulate in a single-screw extruder. The material is then fed into the extrusion head, which gives the pipe its characteristic star-shaped cross-section. The formed pipe then passes through a calibrator that gives it the required dimensions, after which it is cooled and conveyed by a caterpillar haul-off. Once the process is complete, the pipe can be cut to specified lengths or wound into coils, facilitating storage and transport.
