KOVOSVIT MAS MT 54 CNC CNC turning center

KOVOSVIT MAS MT 54 CNC CNC turning center was built in 2006 in the Czech Republic by KOVOSVIT MAS a.s. The machine designed for precise machining of workpieces made of steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics offers excellent precision and repeatability of the manufactured parts. The multifunctionality of the MASTURN 54 CNC lathe provides the possibility to perform a number of complex operations, such as drilling, threading and turning of superficial, face and internal surfaces.

The machining process is performed inside a large workspace equipped with, among others, an 8-position tool head, a two-stage spindle and a tailstock with pneumatically extended sleeve. The spindle, driven by an asynchronous motor with a control unit, allows efficient turning in two different, optimally adapted speed ranges. In turn, the moving parts are driven by digital servo drives, which ensure excellent dynamics combined with high feed repeatability. All this, combined with intuitive CNC control, makes the MASTURN MT 54/1500 universal lathe the ideal choice for both unit and small batch production. The total weight of the machine is 2970 kg.
