OMERA OPI 250 double column press was built in 2000 in Italy by OMERA S.r.l. The machine, designed for, among others, precision stamping, bending and punching, is the perfect solution for the mass production of parts from sheet metal and strips. All these machining operations are performed by a large-area slider operating at a force of 250 tonnes. The compact, rigid gantry design significantly reduces deflection under full load, as well as allows for operation with advanced punches and dies. The equipment also includes pressure cushions and SICK light curtains, which automatically switch off the machine’s power supply if the laser beam is interrupted.
