METAL-TECHNIKA CNC 6X2 plasma-gas cutting machine was built in Poland in 2011. The machine equipped with a gas and plasma torch with separate supports is used to cut pre-programmed shapes in both thin and thick details made of carbon steel. The HYPERTHERM HPR 130 plasma torch cuts metal sheets with a maximum thickness of 25 mm, while the GCE oxygen torch allows cutting workpieces with a thickness of up to 100 mm.
The desired shapes are designed in the very useful CAD/CAM software WRYKRYS with the NESTING function, allowing automatic arrangement of 2D shapes in a such a way that the entire space of the processed metal sheet is used to the best possible advantage. Combined with the highly efficient SmartCNC numerical control, the WPA 6000 plasma cutting machine achieves outstanding results on the manufactured parts.
The plasma cutting machine is also equipped with a FORMICA FORCUT 163 WDM plasma source, servo drives and controllers from the Japanese company SANYO DENKI and an automatic lubrication system. The machine was only used for about 3-4 hours a day on working days alone, resulting in a small amount of time worked. The machine is offered without the filter-ventilation unit shown in the photos.
