Automatic powder coating line

Automatic powder coating line was built in 2018. After a test launch, it has never been used.

The powder coating line is designed for the automatic powder coating of metal components with a maximum length of 1500 mm and a width of 380 mm. It enables the performance of the entire technological process, from surface preparation, through the application of powder coating, to the final curing of the coating.

The preparation of workpieces for coating takes place in a three-zone chemical section with immersion tanks. There, the elements are cleaned prior to the application of the coating. The process uses demineralised water, which ensures proper surface preparation and enhances coating adhesion and durability. Transportation of parts between successive stages is performed using a Power Free overhead conveyor system with height adjustment.

Powder coating takes place in KC-08 spray booths using SAMES Mach Jet and Inobell spray guns. These devices ensure even surface coverage and minimise material consumption. After the application of the paint, the components are transferred to the PGS 4015 polymerisation oven, where the coating is cured under high temperature. As a result, it acquires the required mechanical properties and resistance to external factors. The heating process is assisted by an INFRAGAS RHT gas-fired infrared heater, which ensures stable operating conditions of the installation.

The automatic powder coating plant is controlled by an advanced SIEMENS S7-1200 PLC controller. The control system enables visualisation of line operation, the generation of reports and rapid diagnostics via the internet, ensuring real-time monitoring of the process.
