ECONOMOS IP 4000 Seal Jet CNC lathe for seal production was built in 2000 in Austria by ECONOMOS AUSTRIA Gesellschaft m.b.H. The machine is designed for the production of technical gaskets and sealing elements of various dimensions and profiles. The advanced SEAL-JET technology enables the rapid production of both single parts and short series with high dimensional accuracy and repeatability.
The ECONOMOS ECONOM IP 4000 Seal Jet lathe for gasket production is distinguished by its sturdy, welded design with integrated chip trough. Machining is performed by a main spindle rotating at a maximum speed of 3000 rpm. The spindle, guided in precision bearings and encased in a rigid grey cast iron body, ensures high machining stability even under heavy loads. The integrated cooling system effectively dissipates the heat generated during machining, maintaining optimum working conditions throughout the entire production cycle. The X and Z axes are driven by powerful servo motors, ensuring smooth motion and high positioning accuracy.
The ECONOMOS IP 4000 Seal Jet is equipped with a specially designed tool magazine based on a rail and tool holders bolted to it. This solution speeds up tool positioning and reduces downtime to a minimum. Tools are clamped in the holders by means of interchangeable plates. The whole is operated from an intelligent SIEMENS SINUMERIK CNC controller with an intuitive interface and access to many useful functions.
