GD1300 wide belt sander

GD1300 wide belt sander is used for precision sanding of workpieces made of, among others, wood, plastic and metal. It is ideal for both roughing and finishing operations. The machining process is performed by two, independently controlled sanding belt units. This solution enables the use of two different gradations of abrasive paper and individual adjustment of the working speed of each belt. It also eliminates the risk of scratches, burns and clogging of the abrasive paper.

The GD1300 has a sliding belt table with precise height adjustment, which allows the machining of materials with a maximum thickness of 120 mm. The height of the work table is adjustable via a control panel with digital display. The speed of each of the drive shafts, in turn, is set steplessly via inverters. The drive shafts are equipped with belt position sensors that prevent the abrasive paper from slipping. In the event of an incorrect belt position, the machine automatically stops, protecting the material and components.

Changing sanding belts is extremely simple and quick. You only need to unlock one clamp and remove the entire belt. The GD 1300 wide belt sanding machine uses commonly available abrasive papers bonded with adhesive tape, eliminating the need for specialised parts. The machine is equipped with a central dust extraction system that can be connected to a dust extraction system or industrial vacuum cleaner. Each belt is additionally equipped with a pneumatic paper cleaning system, which effectively removes dust during the operation.
