MEP F13 rebar bending machine was built in 2018 in Italy by MEP S.p.A.. The machine is used in the production of construction stirrups from bars with a maximum diameter of 13 mm. A unique series of patented components, combined with a powerful drive and control system, guarantees an unparalleled capacity level per hour with minimal set-up time.
The entire production cycle consisting of bar loading, cutting and bending is performed fully automatically, without the need for manual operation of the machine by its operator. During the straightening process, the advanced AFS 2 (Advance Feeding System 2) prevents the bar from rotating on its own axis, ensuring the production of accurate and closed stirrups. The design of this system significantly increases the contact point between the feed rollers and the bars, which contributes to reducing the deformation of the coil ribs to a minimum without modifying the mechanical properties of the bars, as is typical of traditional straightening systems.
The offered MEP F 13 rebar bending machine is also equipped with, among others, a cutting unit with a universal, mobile blade with four cutting edges and an industrial PC with proprietary software. Flexibility in the programming of production cycles and a wide range of functions mean that the MEP automatic stirrup bending machine can handle any challenge.
