SOITAAB DUALINE 1530 waterjet cutting machine was built in 2011 in Italy by SOITAAB Impianti srl. It is an extremely versatile machine that combines the advantages of waterjet and plasma cutting, providing great production flexibility. It is capable of machining a wide range of materials, such as metal, plastic, stone and glass, which makes it suitable for use in a number of industries.
Cutting is performed by means of a state-of-the-art AccuValve head, designed for maximum efficiency and reliable operation in demanding production conditions. The head moves in the X,Y,Z axes with feeds of 3000 mm, 1500 mm and 200 mm respectively. Depending on the type of task, either water jet with an abrasive addition or plasma generated by a reliable HYPERTHERM plasma source of the highest energy efficiency is used.
The SOITAAB DUALINE WaterJet ensures high work stability during even the most intensive challenges. This is all thanks to the gantry design, which has been developed in such a way that the weight of the water does not affect the geometry of the guideways or the accuracy of positioning. To increase the durability and service life of the machine, all components that are in direct contact with the water are made of stainless steel. The linear axes are driven by modern brushless motors and move on precision linear guideways. In turn, a special sensor has been mounted on the vertical carriage to continuously correct the position of the cutting head in relation to the workpiece.
The SOITAAB DUALINE 1530 is controlled by an advanced CNC controller with dedicated CAD/CAM software, which enables easy import of technical documentation, rapid preparation of machining programmes and convenient management of the machining process. To maximise material utilisation, the NESTING module automatically optimises the placement of workpieces on the workpiece, reducing waste and lowering production costs. The equipment also includes, among others, an abrasive feed system with tank and a 37 kW high-pressure pump. All of this makes the offered SOITAAB HW2D3016 waterjet cutting machine the ideal choice for both unit and series production.
